| Petrograd "nine one one" LP [Skuld Releases - Germany] Petrograd are from Luxembourg and have released a whole mess of records. This LP is their 3rd full length to date and possibly their best material yet. 11 songs of pure melodic and emotional anarchopunk with great female/male vocal work and a pop-ish element to it. Some of their previous releases have reminded me some of Chumbawamba's earlier material and this one still has that feel but their sound seems to have developed and matured into something so much more amazing than before. Comes with a 32 page booklet with lyrics, writings and other information all written in English and Spanish. |

Once again Rawside deliver the goods, playing 80's style punk rock with just enough of a metal edge to keep it interesting and fresh. Most of the songs are in English and the lyrics cover a wide range of political topics as well as keeping the spirit of punk rock alive. | Sea of Deprivation "catharsis in disharmony" LP [Catchphraze Records] the debut release from this Arizona 3 piece featuring members of Misanthropic. Lots of crossover in musical styles but this definitely leans towards the metal end of things, drawing influences from bands such as Carcass, ABC Diabolo, Assuck and Dystopia. Lyrics are both personal and political in a brutally honest way. This record never lets up for a second! |

This LP is sheer brilliance, total Flux of Pink Indians style peace punk that is just awesome! comes packaged with lyrics, artwork, and some info about the band. if you liked any of the early Crass Records peace punk bands then you will definately not want to miss this! |
