La Fraction "AUSSI LONG SERA LE CHEMIN" LP [Skuld Releases - Germany]
The second LP release by this wonderful melodic punk band from France. The musical style is totally rage filled and straight forward but the female vocals add so much to their music. Reminds me a lot of bands like Post Regiment but with even more of a melodic aspect to the vocals. Comes with a full color jacket and booklet with lyrics and translations for all of the songs. *TEMP. Living Under Lies s/t LP [Dissonant Sound Industries]
ex-members of Talk is Poison, Animal Farm and Coward team up for this brand new LP. 12 songs of anger filled, raging hardcore from Portland with intelligent and thought provoking lyrics covering a number of political issues. This is one of the first bands that I have seen that actually takes an intelligent perspective on the wave of blind patriotism that resulted in the wake of 9/11. |

Ohlo de Gato/Visions of War split LP [Angry Records - Italy]
Olho De Gato's members are found in various countries but their contact is set to Holland, and I believe that some of the members of this band also used to play in theband Boycot as well so...Olho De Gato leave very little room for messing around. From the very start 'til the end they're busting out their energetic hardcore. This is more straight up than Visions of War on the other side though and has hints of thrash, or fastcore, or whatever you wanna call it. They're faster and have some more hooks...make sense?
Visions of War, from Belgium, play very brutal crusty hardcore. Very powerful. Somewhat Doom/ENT sounding with the raw production and harsh/growling trade-off vocals backed up by a wall of crushing noise. There's not much more to say really, it's just damn good. |

Oi Polloi "fuaim catha" LP [Skuld Releases - Germany]
The title of this LP is in Gaelic, and translates to "noise of struggle" and that title does a good job of summing up the feeling of this album. Long time running Oi Polloi continues to deliver classic raging anarchopunk style music with extremely well thought out lyrics in a way unmatched by anyone. Blended in amongst the rage are things like tribal drumming and spoken word pieces that make the LP flow nicely. Comes with a booklet filled with lyrics, writings, pictures and artwork that is totally inspiring. Perhaps their most intense release yet! |

Operation "destructiv utveckling" LP [Skuld Releases - Germany]
the final offering by Swedish anarchopunks Operation. as before they keep the really cool melodic parts and the awesoem drumming styles and have now a bit more of a thrash sound than on the previous LP. the female/male vocals, as always, do a great job working together and add so much impact to the music. Lyrics are all very well thought out as well. This includes a huge booklet with lyrics, explinations to the songs, some info on the band, and some amazing artwork. also includes a fold out poster as well. |

Operation "frihet?" LP [Skuld Releases - Germany]
This was originally a self released LP with a very limited pressing but has now since been repressed by Skuld so that more people can get their hands on this anarchopunk masterpiece. Sweden's Operation put together such an amazing LP here. Total anarcho/peace punk music mixed up with a Swedish thrash style make this a brilliant record. The female/male vocals work together so well and the LP just makes you want to stand up and scream along. Comes with a nice booklet with lyrics, translations, artwork and writings. Members have since gone on to play in the bands Protestera and Svart Aggression. |
