Ballast LP

Price: $8.00

Ballast "sound asleep" LP [Profane Existence]
Ten songs of intense anarchopunk from Montreal's Ballast. Their music is an urgent mix of hardcore, crust, and classic peace-punk influences, with the songs being lengthy and very-well structured. The most striking element of their sound are the female-fronted vocal delivery, which is powerful, yet melodic and emotive too, and harmonizes wickedly with the more gruff, male backing vocals. This album has a lot of the same feeling/sound that Anti-Product's "the silence of grinding gears" LP did, great music coupled with a message of urgency and sincerity!

Beyond Description

Price: $8.50

Beyond Description "a road too..." LP [Angry Records - Italy]
Beyond Description are from Japan and have been going at it forever it seems like. This LP picks right up where they last left off, playing pulverising Japanese thrash like there's no tomorrow. Fans of bands like Municipal Waste, DRI, etc. will be all about this.

Black Market Fetus LP

Price: $7.00

Black Market Fetus "midwest meltdown" LP [Self Released/First Blood Family]
BLACK MARKET FETUS are from Des Moines, Iowa and are, quite simply, brutal as fuck. I'm not really sure what you would call their music - crust, grindcore, thrash...cause it's like a mix of all of those styles...Take the crust style of Extreme Noise Terror and Doom, mix it with the metal style of Slayer and Venom, and mix it with the thrash style of Confuse, Disrupt and Stapled Shut and you'll have an idea of what to expect from Black Market Fetus. Prepare to be punished.

Brother Inferior LP

Price: $6.00

Brother Inferior "anthems for greater salvation" LP [Sensual Underground Ministries]
The only full length album ever released by this great band and, in my opinion, their best release. Straight forward catchy anarchopunk reminiscent of older Defiance with hard hitting political lyrics attacking capitalism, the church, work, and much more. There is even an extremely moving acoustic folk song on the B side as well!

Caustic Christ LP

Price: $8.00

Caustic Christ "can't relate" LP [Havoc Records]
Caustic Christ features ex-members of bands such as Aus Rotten, the Pist, React and Broken and this is their first full length. The result is one of the most unique "sounds" in current hardcore because they mix the bass heavy drive of Swedish crust with the high octane thrash of American Fast Core. The lyrics and music sound so aggressive and pissed off the speakers can barely contain the rage. Lyrically the straightforward agitprop of Aus Rotten has been replaced by a more bleak form of social commentary based on a desperate alienation. But critics who think Caustic Christ have distanced themselves from political statements should read the lyrics to Satisfied Means Pacified and other tracks on this LP. The cover artwork is by Tommy Gun who also did the 7" and shirt artwork.

Dropdead LP

Price: $8.00

Dropdead s/t LP (1998) [Armageddon Label]
A classic piece of wax originally released in 1998 by these legendary thrash-masters. 18 songs in a decidedly more Swedish HC vein than their earlier releases, but with the usual odd breaks and fast parts throughout. More melodic than the first LP in some ways, and noisier in others. Side one of the LP plays from the inside/matrix/center label part of the record to the outside.

Dropdead LP

Price: $8.00

Dropdead s/t LP (1993) [Armageddon Label]
Originally released in 1993 on Selfless Recs, this 34 song album was re-released on blue wax with updated artwork and lyrics. Influenced by the old Japanese, European, and some US hardcore. An extreme mix of fast and mid-paced parts with angry vocals and personal/political lyrics. This is one of those LP's that everyone should have in their record collection.

Dropdead LP

Price: $8.00

Dropdead s/t discography LP [Armageddon Label]
Originally released in 1994 as an 11” LP on Clearview, and regular LP on Flat Earth in the UK in 1995. A collection of 39 songs compiled from the first 7”, the split 8” with Rupture, the split 5” with Crossed Out, and several compilation songs. The complete early studio tracks that are practically impossible to get a hold of now all on one release.

From Ashes Rise - Victims split LP

Price: $8.00

From Ashes Rise/Victims split LP [Havoc Records]
From Ashes Rise plays dark, slightly metallic hardcore that is not unlike early His Hero Is Gone mixed with Scandinavian hardcore like Skitystem and 80's UK crust like Antisect. Drawing on those influences From Ashes Rise has moved this sound into it's own territory so to simply label it "Tennessee style" hardcore would be oversimplifying their sonic progression. From Ashes Rise recorded at Polymorph in the Bay Area and the production is intense and flawless. Victims are from Sweden and play aggressive, fast Scandinavian hardcore not unlike early Skitsystem or Wolfbrigade. You can hear the influence of early Swedish hardcore like Anti-Cimex, Shitlickers and Crude SS mixed with the heavier sounds of 90's crust core. The cover artwork is a new piece from Pushead and is amazing as always. Every single detail of this record is simply amazing.

split LP

Price: $8.50

Ohlo de Gato/Visions of War split LP [Angry Records - Italy]
Olho De Gato's members are found in various countries but their contact is set to Holland, and I believe that some of the members of this band also used to play in theband Boycot as well so...Olho De Gato leave very little room for messing around. From the very start 'til the end they're busting out their energetic hardcore. This is more straight up than Visions of War on the other side though and has hints of thrash, or fastcore, or whatever you wanna call it. They're faster and have some more hooks...make sense? Visions of War, from Belgium, play very brutal crusty hardcore. Very powerful. Somewhat Doom/ENT sounding with the raw production and harsh/growling trade-off vocals backed up by a wall of crushing noise. There's not much more to say really, it's just damn good.

Accion Mutante EP

Price: $3.50

Accion Mutante "fear" 7" [Skuld Releases - Germany]
Fast German thrash with a bit of a metallic edge to it that keeps it interesting and brutal. Reminds me of some kind of mix between Doom and Destroy! with German lyrics. Very cool stuff.

Apatia No/Protestera split EP

Price: $3.75

Apatia No/Protestera split 7" [Skuld Releases/Noseke Records - Germany]
This is one of those 'dream come true' type of records. Pairing up 2 highly political anarchopunk bands like Apatia No and Protestera is nothing short of brilliant. Apatia No have been going at it for some time now and this is some of the best material that they have ever released. Dual vocals over great South American style aggressive anarchist punk music with very political lyrics. Great stuff. Protestera are from Sweden and have been raging for a while too. After releasing one of the most inspiring LP's I've ever heard they follwed it up with a great 7" release and now this split. They too just seem to keep getting better and better with each release. Amazing!

Brother Inferior/NOTA split EP

Price: $3.25

Brother Inferior/N.O.T.A. split 7" [Havoc Records]
2 punk bands from Tulsa paired up on this classic release. This is some of the best Brother Inferior stuff in my opinion, a lot like the stuff on their "anthems..." LP, having a sound akin to the early Defiance releases with lyrics that are extremely well stated backed up by totally catchy music that gets stuck in your head VERY easily. NOTA were a powerful hardcore punk band that was around in the 80's that released some classic records. They got back together for a while and recorded a few new songs, including these tracks here, and have since broke up again.

Caustic Christ s/t EP

Price: $3.25

Caustic Christ s/t 7" [Havoc Records]
When a band features ex-members of bands like Aus Rotten, the Pist, and React react you should expect something amazing and that is what you get with this 7". Caustic Christ delivers a heavy hardcore style that is something like a cross between early Corrosion of Conformity and Swedish crust core like Wolfbrigade and Skitsystem. Fans of crust and fast 80's style hardcore will no doubt both like this 7" as it bridges the two genres perfectly. Lyrics deal with aleination from dead end jobs, destruction of the environment and the horror of everyday life in 21st century society.

Caustic Christ 'government jobs' EP

Price: $3.25

Caustic Christ "government jobs" 7" [Havoc Records]
While much of the hardcore scene is based on the energy and anger of the youth, there's something to be said for a band made up of bitter old guys. Years of experience and a complete lack of youthful idealism leave you with some truly raw, powerful, aggressive, no frills hardcore punk rock. Caustic Christ on this release take a "less is more" approach by stripping away the frivolity of fashion and getting down to the brass tacks. Here are five tracks of pure hc punk animosity coming at you full speed that will hit you like a ton of bricks!

Cluster Bomb Unit 'last band standing' EP

Price: $3.75

Cluster Bomb Unit "last band standing" 7" [Angry Records - Italy]
Cluster Bomb Unit have been together for a long time now and have gone through a few member and style changes during that time but this new line up on this release has to be the best yet! They now feature a female vocalists with a very raw style, similar to Health Hazard, Provoked, etc. and have also got kelly ( ex-DEFIANCE, RESIST, SEVERED HEAD OF STATE) doing bass for them. Their lyrics are still political and are written in both German and English.

Code 13 'they made a wasteland...' EP

Price: $3.25

Code 13 "they made a wasteland..." 7" [Havoc Records]
Code 13's second 7", released shortly after their debut "Doomed Society" EP. This EP addresses a lot of issues that were, and still are, creating problems within the punk/hardcore underground. This record was released when the hardcore scene experienced a massive explosion of popularity and renewed interest as well as an assault of commercialism and regressive attitudes. The result was a record that put the larger political issues to a back seat to confronting poseurs, sell-outs and religious extremists trying to corrupt the true spirit of hardcore. Musically very similar to the first 7" - fast paced straight ahead hardcore with a variety of influences.

Code 13 'part of america...' EP

Price: $3.25

Code 13 "part of america died today" 7" [Havoc Records]
After several years, and several tour, Code 13 drops another 7". After having to do some line up shuffling they put together a solid line up that marked their most powerful, and most eclectic style yet. This one still has that classic Code 13 style but you can see other influences in this one as well.

Code 13/DS 13 split EP

Price: $3.25

Code 13/D.S. 13 split 7" [Havoc Records]
This would serve as Code 13's final release and I can't think of any band better to pair them with for a split 7" than D.S. 13. This 7" features 13 songs of fast hardcore action from Sweden and Minnesota. Each band does six and one half songs of fast paced 80's influenced hardcore.

Destroy EP

Price: $3.25

Destroy "burn this racist system down" 7" [Havoc Records]
Destroy was a political grind/crust hardcore band from Minneapolis that formed in 1988 and continued on through several line-up changes until 1994. Destroy had a brutal as hell sound that you could compare to bands like Disrupt, Extreme Noise Terror, Napalm Death and Doom. Fast political hardcore with grind and metal influences. I truly think that everyone should have a copy of this record in their collection.

Disrespect EP

Price: $3.25

Disrespect "justice in a bag" 7" [Profane Existence]
Four brand new tracks from Minneapolis' pervayers of the classic, pissed-off punk rock sound. Unlike their much rougher debut EP, these new songs were written to highlight the differences betwen the three vocalists. All the lyrics are bitingly angry commentaries about the current social and political situation in which we are forced to exist. Musically this falls somewhere between One Way System, Discharge, Conflict, and Civilised Society.

Dog Assassin EP

Price: $3.25

Dog Assassin s/t 7" [Spacement]
7 songs of fast hardcore/punk filled with tons of energy and some great tradeoff/dual vocal work. Political lyrics covering issues such as war, sexism, animal rights, and more. Comes packaged in a REALLY nice hand screened and stitched cover. Limited to 325 copies!

Fleas and Lice EP

Price: $3.50

Fleas and Lice "parasites" 7" [Skuld Releases - Germany]
The first release that Fleas and Lice ever put out on vinyl. Fleas and Lice is a crusty squatter band from Holland featuring ex-members of Mushroom Attack. Music wise this sounds pretty much like Mushroom Attack did but without the melodic clean parts. Pure crusty rage and anger with alternating female/male vocals.

Hellkrusher EP

Price: $3.50

Hellkrusher "victims of hate" 7" [Skuld Releases - Germany]
After releasing 3 LP's and 2 7"s before this Hellkrusher deliver the goods again with another 7" offering. This one gives 5 songs of U.K. crust punk that rages. A mix somewhere between Discharge, Doom and Final Warning!

Hellkrusher EP

Price: $4.00

Hibernation s/t 7" [Maximum Voice - Germany]
description will go here....

Kylesa EP

Price: $4.00

Kylesa s/t 7" [Scorched Earth Policy - Germany]
Wow! This 2 song 7" just beats the shit out of you in ways I never thought possible. Strong female and male vocals layed over heavy, downtuned guitars. 1 song deals with questioning the lies that we are force fed from childhood and the other song is an amazing cover of the Nausea song clutches.

La Fraction EP

Price: $4.50

La Fraction s/t 7" [Self Releases - France]
La Fraction's first 7" finally repressed! Being as this was their first release their sound isn't quite as polished as on their LP's but this is still some of the best melodic anarchopunk that has come out in a long time. This EP gives 4 songs of rage filled melodic @punk from France with some of best female vocals ever. Has a bit of a sound like Post Regiment but with more of a melodic edge to it. Song topics cover issues such as EZLN, rape, and more. Comes packaged in a nice Crass style fold out cover and is a benefit for the EZLN.

Lost World 2 X EP

Price: $6.00

Lost World "capitalism is a disease" 2 X 7" [Skuld Releases - Germany]
A great double 7" release by this German based political anarchopunk/crust band. Recorded and released before their "TOT ABER HALTBAR" LP this is the same style driving HC punk with raspy female vocals but with a bit more of a raw feeling than the LP has. Brings to mind bands such as Disaffect, Antischism and others in that style of music. Includes a nice 20 page booklet with artwork, lyrics and writings in a gatefold double 7" sleeve!

Masskontroll EP

Price: $3.25

Masskontroll "warpath" 7" [Havoc Records]
Masskontroll were a brutal thrash band that was heavily influenced by mid-80's Swedish and Japanese thrash hardcore. The Avskum, Anti-Cimex, Crude SS, No Security, Swedish "dis" sound is unmistakable. Totally heavy riffs and crushing power with lyrics that took on serious political issues and confronted apathy in the punk scene.

Oi Polloi EP

Price: $4.00

Oi Polloi "carson" 7" [Nikt Nic Nie Wie - Poland]
3 raging anarchopunk tunes this long time running band that hails from Scotland. What sets this 7" off from the many other Oi Polloi releases is that on this 7" all of the vocals are recorded in their indigenous celtic language of Gaelic. Comes packaged with a fold out insert that features translations to all of the lyrics, along with other writings, essays and information.

Paragraf 119 EP

Price: $4.00

Paragraf 119 "musik til ulempe" 7" [Kick n' Punch Records - Denmark]
Totally intense and amazing crusty-anarchopunk-thrash from Denmark with alternating female/male vocals. Truly one of the most intense and inspiring bands that I have heard in a long time that perfectly captures the essence and urgency of the European political punk movement. Intelligent and well written political lyrics accompanied by mind blowing artwork. Get this!

Re-Sisters EP

Price: $3.50

Re-Sisters "riots not diets" 7" [Skuld Releases - Germany]
Fucking brilliant and refreshingly original punk from Germany. Re-sisters is an all female band with amazingly catchy punk music and totally in your face lyrics that deal with the sexism and homophobia that is so much a part of our world in a way that very few bands have ever done. Musically this reminds me of a lot Harum Scarum with some different twists thrown in. includes a big booklet with lyrics, writings, etc. in both German and English texts.

Tragedy/Totalitar split EP

Price: $3.75

Tragedy/Totalitar split 7" [Armageddon Label]
A classic ep in the making. Tragedy, hailing from Portland, OR, have two songs of dark and heavy hardcore. Recorded at the time of their first LP, brutal sound, angry and inspiring lyrics. Totalitar have two songs recorded at the time of their classic “Sin Egen Motstandare” album. Re-workings of two songs from the 1986 demo. Great sound, great lyrics, no bullshit.

Wolfbrigade - Audio Kollaps split EP

Price: $4.00

Wolfbrigade - Audio Kollaps split 7" [Epistrophy - Germany]
Wolfbrigade offer up another healthy dose of the D-beat madness that they are famous for. Powerful as hell. Audio Kollaps are more on the death metal side of things complete with the deep vocals. I think that they're trying to be "brutal" with their side of the cover featuring what looks like faked dead body pictures but, to me, that just seems rediculous.

2 bands from L.A. team up for this split 7". Against Empire drop 2 songs of aggressive anarchopunk that sounds so much like Aus Rotten that if I didn't know any better I would swear it was them! Price: $3.75

Argue Damnation/Boycot split 7" [F.F.T. Label - Japan]
Managed to get our hands on some of these great records that have been out of print for a while. Argue Damnation throw down 4 songs of their distotion filled Japanese HC sounds on their side. Boycot, who are from Holland, rip shit up as usual on their side with 5 songs of thrashing hardcore punk that is catchy as hell with great lyrics. comes on white vinyl.
