Immediate News/New Happenings
Alright...the Contravene/Uprising split 7" is out. 200 copies were made on limited edition red vinyl available for mailorder only.
The Monuments to Ruins LP should have been out by now (should have been out MONTHS ago actually!) but there have been about a million problems with the pressing plant that we're getting it done at. It took the place about 2 months to even get started on the pressing process and now we got the test presses back the other day and there are all sorts of pops and skips on it so it is going to make to be remastered before it can actually get pressed, which is going to cause more delays. We're really sorry to everyone that is waiting for this record to come out for the long wait. Needless to say we will not be going through this pressing plant ever again after this experience. We're hoping that they can get it remastered and pressed by the end of Jan. or early Feb. at the latest. Again, sorry to everyone for the delays with this record but it will be worth the wait cause it's going to be a good one!
the 4 way split LP with Resist and Exist, Fallas del Sistema, Resistant Culture and Contravene has been compiled and will be getting sent off to be pressed within the next couple weeks, so that one should be out shortly as well.
The Kakistocracy LP should be going to press soon too. Looks like it is going to be a split label release between us and Profane...not sure exactly when it'll be going to the pressing plant but it should be soon I would imagine.
Just got done updating the catalog - new stuff, some restocks...its all on the New Arrivals page. We'llbe adding up some new Tapes and some new 1" Button designs within the next week or so so make sure to check back for those!

For anyone who hasn't noticed or hasn't been here before - we have a new shopping cart system and have changed the way that we are doing the mailorder now. Prices are no longer postage paid like before. Prices have been lowered and postage is now calculated by weight and shipping method that YOU choose. This new method will reduce prices A LOT and gives you more options as far as how you want your package to be shipped. Currently we are offering Media Mail shipping through the Postal Service and we now offer several different shipping options through UPS (Ground, 3 day select, 2 day air, and Next Day Air). All UPS ordes include free insurance and tracking information as well. ***Currently the UPS shipping options are unavailable. The prices that were being used in the shopping cart system were way under what our actual cost of shipping through UPS actually is due to a calculating error with our shopping cart. SO, I now have to go through and manually fix all of the UPS shipping rates. I should be able to get this fixed soon. Sorry for the inconvenince.***. You can also add services such as delivery confirmation and insurance to orders that are shipped through the postal service off of the webpage now. For the full run down on everything check out the Ordering Information Page.

Other News:
We still have a whole mess of pictures to add up - stuff from the Contravene European tour, show pictures, and some other stuff so, as soon as we have the time, we'll be getting all of that stuff added. More sound files to be added soon too. And I think the next thing that will be taken care of here in the webpage will be fixing up the links pages. I know there are a lot of broken links and those will be taken care of, along with new links added as well so keep checking back for updates.

In Loving Memory
We would like to take a moment to remember Phil Hansford. We have known Phil for many years now and his passing has been very devistating to everyone that knew him. He had made numerous contributions to the DIY punk and activist communities - helped with venues, collectives, shows, played in some of the best bands ever to come out of Arizona - Misanthropic, Sea of Deprivation, and was a member of Contravene for close to a year, recording on the "a call to action" LP/CD. Beyond that though, Phil was a friend. Someone that you could always talk to and that would always listen and offer sound advice. And I think the one thing that I will always remember most of all about Phil was his laugh. Phil was an extremely genuine person and always extremely honest with his words and actions. On Dec. 17, 2002 he chose to end his own life. He will be sorely missed, but never forgotten.

We would also like to take this time to say farewell to a close friend of ours, Mickey Dusing. Mickey's life was taken from him on August 19, 1999 and he will be sorely missed. He was one of the most genuine and loving people that we have ever known and we will never forget him, nor will all the other people who's lives he touched. We will miss you greatly friend.
