Contravene/Uprising split 7" [Catchphraze Records/Incendiary Sound Records] This one came about as a result of Contravene's U.S. tour last summer. After playing in Detroit with Uprising the idea was put out to release a split between the two bands and this is the result. Both bands manage to produce a sound that is angry and urgent while being catchy as all hell. In true DIY fashion this record was released as a split label effort between 7 different labels from different parts around the world. |

Murdered Minority "calls of reason" 10" [Collective Release] This was a project we helped collectively release in 1999 and has been out of print for a long time now. Urgent, driving A//Political style anarchopunk from Nashville with multiple vocalists and a great amount of intensity. Lyrics are all very well written covering a number of issues (the struggle for animal liberation, true freedom, the idea that all things are connected, and more) in a very in depth and passionate manner. The songs capture the feeling of true passionate struggle and the importance of working on a worldwide scale in avery moving way. These copies were sent to us by the band at some point and do not include the 34 page booklet. The fold over cover includes all lyrics & other relevant information. |

Sea of Deprivation "catharsis in disharmony" LP [Catchphraze Records] the debut release from this Arizona 3 piece featuring members of Misanthropic. Lots of crossover in musical styles but this definitely leans towards the metal end of things, drawing influences from bands such as Carcass, ABC Diabolo, Assuck and Dystopia. Lyrics are both personal and political in a brutally honest way. This record never lets up for a second! |

Lyrics are extremely well put covering issues such as animal rights/vegetarianism, combatting society's pressures to conform to the standards of male dominance, the violence inflicted upon people for not fitting in to "the norm" and more. 6 songs total with lyrics and explinations to all the songs.
